Things you should know about me...

I am a first time mom who has not a clue what she is doing. This will be the first place that I can write about life with my "sweetness" Caroline. I promised to be real, transparent and unashamedly honest about how things roll in our house. I want you to feel welcome here to be exactly where you are in your journey, as I promise to do the same. I hope you can find hope, laughter, autenticity and maybe a few tears along the way.


I am married to my best friend Chris. We have been married for 5 years and have had our shares of ups and downs. He is the butter to my bread and I love sharing life with him.


I am a Christ follower. I do not use the word Christian as it has somehow over the years  been attributed with a negative connotation. I live by the Bible as it is the Truth of all Truths. I love Jesus and talk about Him often because there is not anything that happens in my life that isn't either by Him or for Him. He will be in this blog as much as anyone else. I will not appologize for that.


I love to read. There is a list of my favorite books on my blog. Some just for fun and some that have changed the course of my life.


I love my family and friends. I am learning that I need to be better in both these roles, but I am blessed because of those that I share these titles with.


I am thirty years old... well as of two weeks from now I will be. I am venturing into a new era in my life and excited about the possibilities that thirty brings with it.


I am a stay at home mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister and I love my life.
